About the Role:
Join our team as a Grade 3 Senior Dietetics Clinician Educator based within the Monash Health Mental Health Graduate Program. This part-time, fixed-term (0.20 EFT / 15.2 hours per fortnight) role is until June 2026 - a perfect opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
In this rewarding educator position, you'll play a key role in developing the next generation of mental health dietitians. You’ll support and mentor new graduates and early-career clinicians, sharing your extensive mental health expertise to build their skills and confidence in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.
You'll be responsible for the development and provision of engaging training tailored to both general and individual learning needs - equipping Grade 1 Dietitians to deliver evidence - based services within their practice context.
As part of the Mental Health Program, you’ll collaborate with the Allied Health WISER Team to drive high-quality care through education, practice, and knowledge-sharing initiatives - supporting consistent, evidence-based practice and building the capability and confidence of early-career Allied Health professionals.

In this clinical education position, you will work closely with the Allied Health Mental Health leadership team, the Dietetics Discipline Seniors, Allied Health Education Leads, Allied Health Managers and Directors.
About You:
You have been developing your clinical, education, project management and quality improvement skills or you are an accomplished Dietician with a drive to teach others in your profession; either way, you are ready to take this next step in your career.
You lead by example, thrive working in a dynamic environment and are truly passionate about delivering a high standard of evidence informed care to all patients, families and carers. You are an advocate of Monash Health’s Strategic Guiding Principles.
You are;
- Committed to a leadership & mentoring role in Dietetics
- Demonstrated extensive specialist skills and knowledge, and experience in dietetic to support the emotional, cognitive, physical and spiritual well-being of consumers and their families.
- Committed to delivering patient centred care & advocacy in line with organisational and professional practice standards
- Enthusiastic, compassionate & able to work collaboratively
- Excited to be accountable for and manage specific portfolios in our relentless pursuit of excellence
Mandatory requirements of the role:
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in Mental Health or extensive experience in related area of dietetics practice
- Qualification in education, leadership or project management
