About the Role
Provide operational advice on recruitment for non teaching, teaching and classified roles
Act as an escalation point for recruitment issues across the region; investigating delays or issues and resolving roadblocks
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including central office recruitment teams and school leaders
Review and interpret recruitment documentation to ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures
Demonstrate a proactive and solutions-focused approach, working autonomously where needed
Clearly communicate processes and expectations to a wide range of audiences
Contribute to ad hoc HR reporting
Projects
This role contributes to a range of strategic HR initiatives as directed by the Metropolitan South HR Leadership team. This currently includes:
Coordinating the Supported Pathways into Teaching placements
Manage and maintaining various talent pools
Supporting the development and implementation of attraction strategies
This role is based between Mount Gravatt and Ipswich.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
A strong understanding of recruitment and selection processes and directives
High-level attention to detail and the ability to work across multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative HR team.
Experience using HR systems such as Springboard, ServiceNow, MyHR and TSS (highly regarded)
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
