Are you passionate about improving the lives of individuals through essential equipment services? Join us as an Equipment Officer in the Yorke and Northern LHN!

As part of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team, you'll work closely with the Equipment Coordinator and Occupational Therapist to provide vital equipment services that contribute to the health and well-being of clients. From assessing equipment needs to coordinating stock management and ensuring the smooth installation of vital aids, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting individuals to live more independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate equipment services, including installation, maintenance, and education.
  • Manage stock and assets, ensuring adequate supplies are available.
  • Liaise with staff, clients, and external contractors to provide tailored solutions.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly serviced, repaired, and registered.
  • Contribute to policy development, quality assurance, and staff education initiatives.
  • Uphold privacy, dignity, and client rights in all interactions.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, inspect, and maintain equipment.
  • Experience in a healthcare or community-focused role is a plus.
  • An empathetic, solutions-driven approach to client care.
  • Knowledge of health and safety protocols and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
