The Opportunity
Wesfarmers Chemicals, Energy and Fertilisers is seeking an experienced testing professional to join our ERP Program team on a 9-month fixed-term contract. As part the client team, you will work closely with our system implementer to establish testing requirements, develop test plans, prepare test cases and manage test execution for our new ERP and HXM solutions.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with implementation partners, external vendors, technical experts and business stakeholders to ensure the solutions delivered meet quality, performance and reliability requirements. You will also direct user acceptance testing and guide a small team of Test Analysts responsible for testing non-SAP applications impacted by the rollout of the new solutions.
What you’ll be doing
- Defining requirements and preparing plans for testing SAP and third party applications
- Provisioning environments and developing scripts to perform testing
- Executing testing, managing defects and reporting test progress
- Managing testing tools including Jira and Zephyr Scale
- Building capability within the testing team through leadership and coaching
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and vendors to deliver quality outcomes
What you’ll bring
- Experience leading system testing, ideally for ERP and HXM solutions
- Strong knowledge of SAP applications, particularly Success Factors and S/4HANA
- Experience with manual and automated testing frameworks and tools
- Proven ability to engage stakeholders and coordinate across multiple streams
- A tertiary qualification in ICT or equivalent industry experience
