The Events Coordinator reporting directly to the Events Manager, offers the extraordinary opportunity to join our Banquets and Events team. This is a fantastic opportunity where you can put your skills and knowledge to the test to deliver a thrilling new era for events.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all aspects of events including planning, logistics, setup, execution, and post-event evaluation.
  • Liaise with clients to determine their needs, budget, and expectations.
  • Assist with venue selection, catering, audiovisual, entertainment, and transportation arrangements.
  • Manage event budgets and timelines to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
  • Prepare event proposals, floor plans, production schedules, and BEO.
  • Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring all elements meet brand and safety standards.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service delivery on the day.
  • Maintain accurate records of event-related documents and expenditures.
  • Collect and analyse post-event feedback to improve future events.
  • Manage all relevant software databases (Delphi, Opera and Residairy).

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in event planning or coordination (1 year preferred).
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management software (e.g., Eventbrite, DEPHI5, or similar).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
  • Qualification in Event Management, or related field is advantageous.

As an Events Coordinator, you will be highly organised and detail-oriented with a proven track record of successfully coordinating and executing flawless corporate events and wedding events. Your exceptional communication skills allow you to build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring seamless collaboration throughout the event planning process.

Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our Banquets team.
