About the role
This role contributes to the success of the City by providing administrative services and the coordination of Civic events in the Office of the Lord Mayor.
Role accountabilities include:
- Arrange meetings, briefings, site visits, accept invitations, and schedule Council engagements. Ensure briefing materials are received and distributed.
- Prepare simple correspondence, agendas, meeting notes, PowerPoint presentations, and other documents.
- Follow protocols when they represent the Lord Mayor.
- Oversee events like the ANZAC Day ceremony, and various receptions and functions.
- Handle all travel logistics for the Lord Mayor

Your exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks will be key to your success. You will also play a crucial role in fostering community relationships and ensuring the smooth execution of civic programs.
The following are the essentials for the role:
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Business Management, Public Sector Administration or similar
- Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People.
- Experience in the delivery of quality administrative support to a range of stakeholders.
