About the Role:
As our Barista & Cafe All-Rounder, you'll be the heart of our coffee operation, confidently managing coffee making independently during peak times. Beyond the espresso machine, you'll be an essential part of our team, helping with various tasks to ensure our cafe runs smoothly and our customers have a fantastic experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee beverages. No latte art needed here. Just good, Italian style coffee.
- Independently manage coffee orders during busy periods.
- Operate our POS system and serve customers at the counter when needed.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Assist with general cafe tasks as needed, including clearing tables, resetting the shop, restocking, and maintaining a clean workspace.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a barista in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent coffee-making skills and strong POS proficiency.
- A friendly, outgoing, and positive personality with a genuine passion for customer service.
- Reliable and proactive, with a willingness to jump in and help wherever needed.
- A "team player" mentality and a desire to be part of our family business.
Hours & Pay:
- Approximately 6 hours per day, with flexibility.
- Our cafe is open Wednesday to Sunday.
- Pay rate: $25 - $30 per hour, based on your experience and skills.
