Job Description

Set on an 80-acre working farm and macadamia orchard with views of Byron’s iconic lighthouse, Three Blue Ducks Byron Bay is more than just a café - it’s a destination.

We’re a passionate, down-to-earth team who care deeply about good food, great coffee, sustainability, and good vibes. We’re currently looking for an experienced barista to join our crew ahead of the busy season.

This is a casual position with regular weekend shifts, plus 1–2 midweek shifts during busy periods. You’ll work in pairs on weekends and solo midweek, delivering top-tier coffee in a fast-paced, high-quality environment.

You’ll be using state-of-the-art equipment, including La Marzocco KB90 with integrated scales, EK43 grinder, Juggler milk dispensers & Fetco batch brewers.

You’ll be brewing a range of coffee including single origin espresso, batch brew, V60, and Aeropress. You’ll be supported by our Head Barista, with plenty of opportunities to grow and refine your skills.

Who We're Looking For:

• At least 2 years’ barista experience, ideally in specialty coffee

• Confident brewing filter coffee and single origin espresso

• Comfortable using EK43 grinders and experienced with espresso extraction

• Able to produce consistently high-quality coffee, even under pressure

• Clean, tidy, and detail-focused

• Friendly, reliable, and a strong team player with great customer service skills

• Available weekends, with flexibility during busy periods
