Richlands Medical Centre is looking for a receptionist to join our friendly and supportive team. The position offers around 20-30 hours a week, plus flexibility to cover sick/holiday leave an advantage.
The position is available for immediate start.
Administration experience required.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience. Maintaining excellent administrative work and overseeing patient management, while providing updates to our doctors. Performing daily tasks and working collaboratively with other team members. Fostering a friendly and supportive work environment.
Daily tasks will include (but are not limited to)
- Welcoming patients to the clinic
- Answering phone calls and booking appointments
- Use of the Hot Doc booking and recall system
- Patient billing
- Scanning information onto the system
- Updating medical records and patient
- Supporting practice manager and doctors whilst working as part of a team.
- Monitoring of incoming emails and faxes.
- Closing the clinic
- Basic cleaning duties
Skills and Experience
- Medical Director experience an advantage
- Administration experience required
- Reliability and flexibility
- Well organized and time efficient.
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent telephone skills are necessary
- Excellent customer service
- Be able to work in a team environment and independently
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
Experience:
- Medical admin: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
