We are currently seeking a highly motivated Export Sales Assistant based in Warrnambool, Victoria.
This role is responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new sales opportunities and contributing to the overall commercial success and brand growth of the company, while upholding organisational values and ethical standards. You will be required to coordinate and manage logistics, inventory and sales processes to ensure the efficient movement of goods, accurate invoicing and optimal customer satisfaction.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate shipping and trucking logistics for timely deliveries
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing for all outgoing loads
- Monitor, manage, and reconcile stock levels regularly
- Oversee inventory control to maintain accurate records
- Review and approve transport-related invoices
- Verify that all products are packed according to required specifications
- Communicate with buyers as necessary to meet order and supply needs
- Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities
- Promote Midfield’s products and services to enhance brand visibility and recognition
- Evaluate all sales transactions to ensure optimal commercial outcomes
- Build and manage a client portfolio, gaining insights into their operations to identify potential product and service needs
- Be available for periodic domestic and international travel
- Uphold and apply The Midfield Group’s code of ethics and company values
- Carry out additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned
SKILLS & EXPERIENCES:
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficient in a wide range of computer applications and systems
- Highly organized with strong prioritization skills and keen attention to detail
- Collaborative team player and effective leader, capable of working across various departments and disciplines
