Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fencing Leading Hand to join our growing team. The successful applicant will supervise and coordinate the installation of commercial and industrial fencing systems on various project sites, ensuring work is completed to required standards, within budget and timeframe.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and supervise fencing installation crews on-site.
· Interpret site and construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
· Allocate tasks and monitor daily operations to ensure productivity and quality.
· Coordinate materials, tools, and equipment for scheduled work.
· Ensure adherence to WHS policies and procedures on all job sites.
· Liaise with site managers, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
· Perform hands-on installation work as required.
· Maintain daily job records and report project progress to management.
Essential Skills and Experience
· Minimum 3 years of experience in fencing installation, construction, or a related trade.
· Proven leadership experience in a similar supervisory or leading hand role.
· Ability to read and interpret technical plans and documentation.
· Strong knowledge of construction and fencing methods and materials.
· White Card and current Driver’s Licence (HR Licence advantageous).
· High attention to detail, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Experience working in remote or regional project environments desirable.
Desirable Qualifications
· Certificate III or IV in Building and Construction, Civil Construction, or equivalent trade.
· Elevated Work Platform (EWP), Working at Heights, or other relevant high-risk work licences.
