The Opportunity
As our next Mobile Equipment Maintenance Superintendent reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results.
Based at the Iron Bridge open-cut mine site project, WA on an 8/6, will thrive on meeting all goals and challenges, and act with fairness and integrity in all that you do.
In this role, you will:
- Assuring the quality of maintenance work to ensure that reliable plant and equipment are available for project operations
- Providing focused and effective leadership to the Field Maintenance Supervisors
- Working closely with the Maintenance Manager to ensure maintenance and production objectives align
- Oversee, plan and control all short and long term field maintenance activities in a safe and efficient manner
- Manage and coordinate team’s activities by setting performance objectives and allocating appropriate resources
- Ensure comprehensive records are established and maintained to assist decision making
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve reliability and availability levels
About You
- Trade Certificate in Diesel Fitting or Auto Electrician
- 10+ years post trade experience
- Demonstrated experience with large fleets of mobile mining machinery
- Mine System Maintenance experience
- General Computer Skills
- Safety Focused
- Supervisor experience preferred
- Mentoring and/or coaching experience preferred
- Sound knowledge of planning and scheduling, plant availability and preventative maintenance processes
- Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills
