The role
In this role, you will be accountable for ensuring our members are protected from financial crime, including identifying financial crime exposures and implementing plans to address these exposures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the development of a clear roadmap to deliver the required capability
- Investigate and act to protect both members and the fund
- Design, develop and maintain UniSuper’s financial crime response capability
- Embed Line 1 and Line 2 responsibilities to manage financial crime responsibilities
- Assist in identifying gaps and opportunities to build/ uplift capability
- Timely investigation of potential financial crime
- Proactive monitoring of at-risk members
- Conduct investigations into financial crime incidents reported by the business and respond to significant fraud events
- Implement and maintain database(s) and records for analysis
- Prepare reports for suspicious matters, investigations, internal reporting, etc.
About You

- Ability to build open, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the business, first line and second line teams
- Relevant qualifications and accreditations – risk awareness/knowledge will be a strong advantage
- Extensive professional experience with significant experience in analytics, investigation, fraud management or superannuation
- Knowledge of the legislative and regulatory framework governing the superannuation funds management, advice or financial services industry
