Your New Role

At Aware Super, your role as a Financial Planner goes beyond the norm; it’s about nurturing trust and ensuring the financial well-being of our members and clients. This role will be based in our Newcastle office and will be required to work from the office 3 to 4 days per week to meet member appointment requests.

In this pivotal role as a Financial Planner in our fund, you will;

  • Cultivate enduring client relationships, effectively attracting, servicing, and retaining clients;
  • Engage in insightful conversations, guiding our clients towards achieving their aspirations for a secure retirement;
  • Always act in the best interest of our clients, playing the role of an advocate for their financial well-being;
  • Serve as a key client-facing member of the Financial Planning Network, offering flexible consultation options to accommodate every client’s lifestyle (on-site and off-site, in person, by phone and video conferencing);
  • Diligently prepare Statements of Advice (SOAs), upholding our commitment to compliance and advisory excellence; and
  • Collaborate with our Client Servicing team to elevate the standard of client care, ensuring optimal outcomes for all.

How do you exceed our expectations?

You are a dedicated and professional Financial Planner who's passionate about delivering high-quality financial planning advice to clients so they can make sound financial decisions which could positively impact their retirement.

We'd love to have you join our team if:

  • The idea of being part of our growth is exciting and you want to play a pivotal role in making super simple.
  • You're committed to providing high quality financial planning and client service to our clients/members
  • You hold the necessary licensing to provide personal advice, along with necessary educational qualifications that meet FASEA standards;
  • Your qualifications and tenure in the industry reflect your depth of knowledge and expertise;
  • Your understanding of the legal and compliance framework within the financial services industry is impeccable, with a commendable history of passing compliance audits; and
  • You are balanced in accepting risk in any decision you face. You are curious to understand risk context and choose to speak up as we simplify, learn and grow.

Employee Experience

We understand that not everyone works in the same ways. We value flexibility and know that it helps you manage work and life.

Why you’ll love working at Aware Super:
