Job Description
An exciting opportunity for an Analyst has become available within the Financial & Analysis team within the National Finance & Administration department of ALDI Stores, based in Minchinbury. This is a permanent full-time position.
The FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) team are responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and analysing financial performance to support strategic decision-making. As an analyst within this team, you will play a critical role in transforming complex financial data into insightful, actionable reports that guide strategic business decisions. You will ensure accuracy and clarity in financial reporting, highlighting key trends and variances to support effective financial planning and analysis.

What does the role look like?
- Prepare and review presentations for our Executive leadership team with actionable insights, risks and opportunities identification and recommendations.
- Report and analyse actuals against budgets and forecasts, providing in-depth insights into performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and ensure accurate reporting
- Conduct period-end and month-end close activity.
- Liaise with international finance teams to support with global financial objectives of the business.
- Provide support in process improvement projects.
Qualifications
What do we need from you?
- Proven organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate across various levels of the business.
- Strong analytical capabilities and proficient in utilising various reporting tools to analyse data - such as Excel & Tableau.
- Previous FP&A and commercial analysis experience highly regarded.
- Degree and CA/CPA qualified desirable (or working towards).
- Commerce/Accounting/Business or related Degree.

Remuneration
- Transparent tiered salary range of $139,200 - $158,800 including Superannuation.
