About the role:

We are currently seeking a Financial Resilience Worker to join our team in Biloela. Our Financial Resilience Worker will provide financial support and assistance to adults experiencing personal, family, relationship and/or financial issues.


What will a typical day look like?

  • Provide support, information and referrals to assist individuals with the management of their financial resources including household budgets.
  • Provide face to face support and problem solving to assist people to take control of their finances and empower clients to self-advocate.
  • Provide community education activities on financial literacy.
  • Provide responses to clients who require urgent assistance and have complex needs.
  • Utilise brokerage funds to provide financial and material assistance to clients experiencing immediate financial crisis.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Certificate IV qualifications in Community Services, Finance or Business.
  • 2 years relevant experience

Other Requirements:

  • Full COVID-19 Vaccination
  • Ability to obtain a Blue Card (working with children check positive notice or exemption)
  • Ability to obtain a Yellow Card (disability services positive notice or exemption notice)
