The FloodZoom Platform Administrator has a unique opportunity to use their technical background and skills to participate in Victoria's flood emergency planning and preparation by ensuring the Victorian Government's FloodZoom platform is meeting the expectations of its users, the department and other stakeholders/agencies. Working in a dynamic environment you will lead and contribute as part of a team to the future strategic development and improved functionality of the platform. Your track record of problem solving, communication and stakeholder engagement along with experience in the delivery of IT system enhancements or projects will set you up for success in this role.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- Qualifications: A degree qualification or higher, preferably in information technology, geomatics, geospatial sciences or similar.
- IT system project and task delivery: Demonstrated experience in the delivery of IT system enhancements or projects, including managing end-to-end delivery tasks such as requirements gathering, vendor coordination, testing, documentation, implementation and stakeholder engagement.
- Relevant industry and domain experience: Spatial Industry experience leading the development and implementation of web-based, spatial tools and services is an advantage.
- Floodplain management: An understanding of the floodplain management policies and practices in Victoria is desirable.
- Government experience: Familiarity with government processes and operations is desirable.
This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
