Embassy Florist is seeking an experienced and passionate florist to join our close-knit team. We’re a well-established, family-run florist with two beautiful stores located close to each other in Canberra, known for our quality blooms and friendly service.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with floristry experience who’s looking for flexibility and a welcoming work environment.
About the Role:
We’re open to negotiating the hours based on your availability and experience. Whether you’re looking for part-time, casual, or something more regular, we’re happy to chat. You’ll have the opportunity to express your creativity while working on a variety of arrangements for walk-ins, events, and online orders.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in retail floristry (essential)
- Strong floral design skills with a good eye for colour and balance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Confidence with customer service and order-taking
- Comfort using online ordering systems and POS software
- Reliable, flexible, and calm under pressure
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Designing bouquets, arrangements, and event pieces
- Managing and fulfilling online and in-store orders
- Assisting customers with enquiries and product selection
- General store maintenance and flower preparation
- Contributing to seasonal displays and event setups
