Role Details
The Food and Beverage Attendant / Barista is responsible for preparing and providing food and beverage services at ORSR facilities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and maintaining a high level of customer service. The main tasks associated with the role will be operating commercial coffee machines and grinders, serving customers, restocking fridges and maintaining good cleanliness and hygiene.Special Conditions
- The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.
- The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some work outside of normal hours will be required.
- This role requires a working with children check.
About the Department
The Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing (ORSR) is the lead agency for the Government’s policy on sport and active recreation. ORSR is responsible for State Government policy and legislation as it relates to the sector, its key programs, sport and recreation infrastructure and funding programs. The ORSR supports sport and recreation organisations, Councils and the community through the development of policy, programs and resources, the provision of funding, recreation and sport planning, infrastructure development, elite sport pathways and programs, and the promotion of physical activity.
About the Business
The Infrastructure and Planning division provides a strategic and integrated approach towards the development and delivery of recreation and sport infrastructure and works to build diversity, strength, capacity and sustainability with industry clients and the community. The division is responsible for a number of the State’s key sporting assets, including major sporting venues such as Adelaide Super-Drome and SA Athletics Stadium.
