The Baytree by Ardency is a premium retirement Resort located in Greenwich that has paved the way for a unique retirement experience which combines the very best in independent living with the premium amenities you would expect from a boutique hotel.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Food & Beverage Services Attendant to join our dynamic team on a permanent part time basis, working 25 hours per week. No weekend work!
The successful candidate will be required to assist in various areas of the restaurant, having a hands-on approach in front of house operations.
Reporting to the Resort Manager, you will be tasked undertaking a variety of duties and responsibilities including:
- Working with the kitchen team to ensure a high standard of service is provided within the restaurant to residents and guests
- Taking restaurant bookings and orders
- Recommending dishes and delivering food
- Preparation and setting up for meal service
- Assisting with meal & beverage service
- Basic plating of meals
- Responding to resident enquiries
- Cleaning and washing up of dishes and cutlery
- Accepting payments
- Assisting kitchen staff as needed
- Ensuring that a premium level of customer service is provided to our residents in every interaction.
- Monday 9 – 1pm
- Tuesday 10 – 2pm
- Wed 10 – 2pm
- Thu 10 – 2pm
- Friday 10 – 2pm
About You
You will ideally have a background in hospitality or customer service, with specific experience working within the food and beverage space. The successful candidate will also require the following:
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Be extremely well presented and reliable
- Have a friendly and customer-focused approach, with a can-do and proactive attitude
- To have a passion for resident engagement, with the ability to exceed customer expectations
- To have a current First Aid and CPR certificates, or be willing to obtain
- Have a current Responsible Service of Alcohol certification, or be willing to obtain
- Barista skills, ideal but not essential
