Located next to North Sydney train station, View Sydney is a quality 4-star, 213 room hotel. We are seeking professional and experienced Food & Beverage staff to join our team.
THE ROLE
- Morning Breakfast/Lunch: set up/pack down breakfast buffet, clear tables, serve a-la-carte lunch
- Evening Dinner: a-la-carte, with a focus on high level, attentive service
- Conferences and events: set up/pack down rooms, assist with buffet lunch service, set up break catering
- Room service delivery
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum 2 year experience as waitstaff/F&B attendant in a similar environment (hotel, conference venue, restaurant).
- Bartending experience highly regarded
- Able to carry 3 plates (or willing to learn how)
- Ability to work in a very fast paced, quick moving environment
- Strong focus on guest satisfaction and going above and beyond
- The ability to create a positive first impression with an understanding of the importance of 5 star grooming standards
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills, including fluent English
- The flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Must have weekday availability
