Position Summary:
AC Hotel by Marriott Melbourne Southbank are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive and creative Food & Beverage Duty Manager to join our established and enthusiastic Food & Beverage team!
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, your main duties as a Food & Beverage Duty Manager will include:
- Assisting with managing all aspects of the Food and Beverage department, tending to the guests needs and exceeding their expectations.
- Supporting the Food & Beverage Manager with all Food and Beverage outlets, ensuring the team is providing purposeful service excellence through each customer experience.
- Ensuring the restaurant is consistently prepared and always stocked through ordering and adequate planning.
- Showcase your inner creativity throughout all operational tasks, strategies and team building initiatives, with the desire to drive continuous development.
- Be a prime example of the hotel’s service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by engaging and inspiring guests and fellow associates through each customer experience.
- Be the main point of contact for all external & internal clients for the Food and Beverage department.
- Create and nurture a property environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement and a passion for providing quality and creative service.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Strong understanding of food and beverage operations, from breakfast service to late-night lounge cocktails.
- Previous experience in supervising a team.
- Experience working in hotels (Preferred).
- The ability to be self-motivated, driven and energized in a fast-paced working environment.
- The desire to be the best in the business, working with creativity and professionalism.
- An up-to-date Victorian RSA.
- Working rights in Australia.
- Knowledge of HACCP health, safety and hygiene regulations.
- Available to work varied shifts as per business demand, from early mornings to late evenings, on weekends & public holidays.
