The Opportunity
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to join our production team in Hillston, NSW. You will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to move materials and premium potatoes throughout the production facility. This role is essential in supporting our manufacturing process and ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials and products within the facility
- Transport raw materials to production lines and remove finished goods to storage or dispatch areas
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements
- Adhere to workplace health and safety standards at all times
- Assist with manual handling and other general production tasks as required
What we are looking for
- Valid Forklift Licence (LF)
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a production, manufacturing, or agricultural setting
- Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including long days, early mornings and weekends
