About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our team in Bankstown. This full-time role focuses on the safe handling and transport of large, heavy, and bulky items within our warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have proven experience operating forklifts with oversized loads and will consistently prioritise safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move oversized and heavy goods within the warehouse
- Carefully load and unload items from trucks and storage areas
- Perform routine pre-start checks and minor forklift maintenance
- Accurately store, retrieve, and relocate stock in line with safety protocols
- Help maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Requirements
- A current and valid forklift licence
- Experience handling large or heavy goods in a warehouse setting
- Solid understanding of warehouse safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
