Overview:
We are looking for a student freelance videographer to capture the essence of our upcoming conference. This role involves filming setting up of the venue, registration scenes, keynote speeches, panel discussions, and networking activities, creating a dynamic visual record of the event. Candidates must provide their own video camera, tripod, and mobile phone for recording.
Responsibilities:
- Film various sessions throughout the conference, including keynotes, panels, and audience interactions.
- Set up and test video equipment prior to the event.
- Capture high-quality audio and video to ensure clear recordings.
- Conduct brief interviews with speakers and attendees, if time permits.
- Edit and produce a highlight reel of the conference, showcasing key moments.
- Deliver the final edited video within an agreed timeframe after the event.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a film, media, or related program.
- Experience with video recording equipment and techniques.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
- Strong storytelling skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing conditions.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with event videography and multi-camera setups.
- Basic understanding of sound recording and lighting techniques.
- Experience with live streaming is a plus.
Equipment Requirements:
- Own video camera (DSLR, mirrorless, or equivalent).
- Tripod for stable shots.
- Mobile phone for supplementary footage or interviews.
Compensation:
$300/day
