We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated mechanical fitter to join the team for various field service & maintenance works within the gas & power industry. The role will involve fitting and assembling engine & plant parts and subassemblies for machines and other equipment, as well as servicing, maintenance & overhauling of large gas engines & power station equipment within Australia. The right candidate must be able to travel locally within Sydney, rural NSW & interstate when required.

Skills and experience
- Trade qualifications with at least two years' experience post qualification
- Experience working on large Gas / Diesel engines is an advantage but not essential.
- Electrical licence or NREL licence would be an advantage.
- Ability to read Electrical schematics & P&ID drawings
- Ability to studying drawings and specifications to determine suitable material, method and sequence of operations, and machine settings.
- Available to travel & work away from home with short notice.
- Computer skills & knowledge, Word, Excel, Emails etc.
