As a Funerals Director Assistant, you will engage in an integral role supporting funeral services, viewings and transfers. This role will offer you new life skills, personal growth and development, the opportunity to earn qualifications and progress your career in a personally rewarding industry.
Duties of a Funeral Director's Assistant include:
- Supporting our funeral services through the provision of vehicle and transport services ensuring vehicle presentation is always at a high standard
- Working collaboratively to bring the deceased into our care with dignity and respect
- Oversee proceedings on the funeral service on the day and ensure pre-arranged plans and ad-hoc requests on the day are appropriately implemented.
About you:
- Strong customer service ethos and commitment to service delivery
- Professional attitude with an empathetic and compassionate approach towards people
- Be at ease working with grieving families and the deceased
- A collaborative team player
- Able to work full time hours Monday to Friday
- Possess a full unrestricted driver's license and access to your own vehicle.
