Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Maintenance Gardener to join our growing team. The role involves hands-on garden maintenance work across a variety of residential and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Mowing lawns, whipper snipping/line trimming, and edging
- Pruning, hedge trimming, and general plant care
- Weed control – hand weeding and safe chemical application
- Blowing and removal of green waste and debris
- Basic irrigation and garden maintenance checks
- Maintaining tools and equipment in clean working condition
- Ensuring safe work practices at all times
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience in gardening, landscaping or grounds maintenance
- Physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions (heat and rain)
- Able to work unsupervised and as part of a small team
- Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transport
- Willingness to work with power tools and garden machinery safely
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Current Police Check or willingness to obtain one.
Desirable (but not essential)
- Certificate in Horticulture or relevant field
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- ACDC spray licence
