Your new role
Are you looking for an opportunity where you can contribute to preserving and nurturing our local Parks, Gardens and open spaces?
On a day to day basis you will complete general maintenance of parks, gardens, reserves, road reserves and streetscapes. Horticultural work, including but not limited to, mowing, whipper snipping weeding, mulching, blowing, spraying, irrigation, planting trees and shrubs and labouring.
This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).
What we are looking for
- Knowledge and experience in horticulture and open space maintenance in a large public park or garden environment.
- Ability to safely operate and maintain small machinery including but not limited to motor vehicle, tractors, mowers, brush cutters, hedgers, chain saws, blowers and other plant.
- A motivated, proactive, self-starter with a passion to deliver quality horticulture works.
- Someone who enjoys and is capable of physical and outdoor work.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Application Criteria
- Demonstrated work experience within a horticultural environment and passion to deliver quality work.
- Knowledge and experience with safe operation of zero turn mowers, whipper snippers, hedgers, blowers and adhering to WHS procedures.
- A strong team player that demonstrates positive attitude and can work independently.
