We are on the lookout for enthusiastic, fun-loving, dependable, and self-driven team players to join our cleaning team.
Reporting to the Cleaning Manager, the main duty of a General Cleaner is to uphold the overall cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards of the park, its rides, facilities, and equipment. Our cleaning team operates on a variety of shifts, which include pre-opening responsibilities, in-park tasks during operating hours, as well as evening shifts for night trading, the Dreamworld Night Markets, and special events.
To be considered for this role you must:
- Demonstrate a high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail
- Demonstrate well developed communication, customer service and teamwork skills
- Be a hand’s-on team player with a positive can-do approach to work tasks
- Have proven reliability, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently
- Have flexible availability who can work a variety of shifts between 5 AM and 1 AM, including weekends, school holidays, and peak seasons, as part of a 7-day rotating schedule.
- Manual handling, physical dexterity and the ability to carry out physically demanding tasks
- Experience with cleaning equipment such as floor polishers, industrial sweepers, and pressure cleaners, along with a valid manual driver’s license, will be highly regarded.
