Newcastle Stainless P/L has a position for a General workshop Assistant.
Daily duties may include;
- Assisting Tradesman carry out there fabrication duties.
- General workshop & office cleaning.
- Mowing lawns.
- Cleaning workshop vehicles & equipment.
- Delivery jobs to customers & collecting materials from suppliers.
- Driving forklift loading & unloading materials from trucks & storage racks.
- Help prepare completed jobs for dispatch including slurry blasting & passivation.
Other non fabrication tasks may be added as required.
Experience would be an advantage, however not essential as training will be provided.
Both a car driver's license & forklift ticket are required.
Applicants must be punctual, able to work in a workshop/team environment.
Our hours of operation are as follows;
Mon - Thurs 6am to 4pm
