Job Title: Yard Person / Handyman (Part-Time)
Location: Fremantle
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (extra hours available)
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Person / Handyman to join our team on a part-time basis. This hands-on role is essential to the smooth operation and maintenance of our warehouse and yard areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- General upkeep and maintenance of the warehouse and yard
- Operating a forklift for unloading and loading deliveries
- Checking materials received against delivery dockets
- Carrying out basic repairs and general handyman duties
- Ensuring the yard is clean, safe, and well-organised
- Assisting with other duties as required by the warehouse team
About You:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Previous experience from the building or construction industry
- Skilled in general maintenance and basic handyman tasks
- Valid forklift license (required)
- Truck licence (desirable)
- Proactive, self-motivated, and dependable
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors and in a warehouse environment
