Job Description
Scouts SA is on the lookout for a Grants Administrator to join our passionate team and help us unlock funding to support Scouting activities across South Australia. From tents to tech, events to equipment – you’ll be the behind-the-scenes hero making it all happen.
Responsibilities;
- Coordinate the full lifecycle of grants – from application to acquittal.
- Proactively promote funding opportunities across the organisation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to identify grant needs.
- Maintain accurate records and provide monthly financial tracking and reporting.
- Provide friendly guidance and support to members applying for grants.
- Deliver engaging grant and fundraising workshops.
Desired Skills and Experience

- Experience in grant administration, fundraising, or community development.
- A creative mindset with a talent for writing compelling applications.
- Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines with ease.
- Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and everything in between.
- A collaborative spirit and a genuine passion for supporting youth and community programs.
Essential;
- National Police Check and WWCC - or ability to obtain
- Current drivers licence
