Aquavue is a vibrant beachfront destination in Hervey Bay, known for great food, refreshing drinks, and unforgettable experiences by the water. We’re looking for a reliable and hands-on Grounds & Maintenance Person to join our team.
In this role, you’ll ensure our building and surrounding areas are always looking their best, creating a welcoming space for every visitor. You’ll also be responsible for carrying out and documenting maintenance tasks to keep everything running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the overall cleanliness and presentation of the venue, including outdoor areas
- Carry out general repairs, upkeep, and preventative maintenance
- Document and report maintenance tasks in a timely and accurate manner
- Assist with setting up and maintaining outdoor spaces for guest comfort
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of safety and presentation
About You:
- Hands-on, practical, and proactive with a can-do attitude
- Previous experience in a maintenance, groundskeeping, or handyman role (preferred)
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
- Flexible availability (casual/part-time hours, including some weekends if required)
- A commitment to keeping Aquavue looking exceptional for our guests
