We’re looking for a professional, friendly, and reliable Part-Time Receptionist (20 hours per week) to join the team at JPL Group. As the first point of contact for all visitors, clients, and callers, you will play a key role in creating a warm and welcoming front-of-house experience while ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has a strong sense of organisation, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service. Working closely with the wider office team, you’ll also provide general administrative support to help keep things running efficiently.

What will you do?
- Be the first point of contact for all visitors, clients, and callers, creating a professional and welcoming front-of-house experience.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails promptly and courteously.
- Greet and assist guests, contractors, and delivery personnel, ensuring smooth check-in and sign-in procedures.
- Coordinate meeting room bookings and assist with scheduling to support team efficiency.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and courier deliveries.
- Provide general administrative support and maintain a tidy, organised reception area.
- Proven experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative support role within a professional office environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with visitors, staff, and contractors.
- Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and familiarity with email and booking systems.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment.
- A high level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
- A proactive, friendly attitude and commitment to maintaining a clean, welcoming reception area.
