Job Description
Located just steps from the golden sands of Surfers Paradise Beach, Oaks Gold Coast Hotel offers more than just a place to stay, it’s a destination that blends comfort, convenience, and a vibrant coastal lifestyle. With newly refurbished rooms, sweeping ocean and hinterland views, and proximity to world-class dining, shopping, and entertainment, this is a property that truly stands out.
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Guest Service Agent to be the welcoming face of our hotel and provide unforgettable guest experiences.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver warm, professional service from check-in to check-out
- Be a trusted source of knowledge for guests, offering recommendations on local attractions and experiences
- Handle reservations, room allocations, and payments with attention to detail
- Respond to guest enquiries and resolve issues with confidence and care
- Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure a seamless stay for every guest
HIGA award rate:
- $25.80 per hour (Monday to Friday)
- $32.25 per hour (Saturday)
- $38.70 per hour (Sunday)
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a front office, guest service, or customer-facing role (hospitality experience preferred)
- A passion for guest satisfaction and delivering high service standards
- Excellent communication, presentation, and multitasking skills
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Experience with Opera or similar PMS is an advantage
- Valid working rights in Australia
