Job Description
As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the welcoming face of Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort, playing a key role in shaping each guest’s experience from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave. Your friendly, professional approach, attention to detail, and commitment to service excellence will help ensure every stay is smooth, enjoyable, and memorable.
Working closely with all departments, you’ll respond to guest needs promptly and effectively, contributing to a seamless operation and a positive team environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing check-in and check-out procedures efficiently while maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction
- Supporting Accor’s loyalty program by promoting memberships and explaining the benefits to guests
- Assisting with occupancy and revenue growth through thoughtful upselling and cross-selling of rooms and services
- Handling guest enquiries, requests, and incoming calls with professionalism and a solutions-focused approach
- Delivering warm, personalised service that reflects the resort’s values and creates lasting positive impressions
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a hotel front office or a customer-facing role within the hospitality industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Opera Cloud is highly regarded
- A strong guest service mindset with excellent attention to detail
- Self-driven and proactive, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- Availability to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
