We have recently taken over Plus Fitness Carlingford, and it’s now under new management and undergoing a brand new fit out, set to be completed on June 18th 2025. The club is about to undergo an exciting and intensive fit-out to align with the latest Plus Fitness branding, elevating the facility to a whole new standard. Roles and Responsibilities: Club
- Sales & Revenue Generation: Take ownership of the club’s sales efforts, ensuring monthly and quarterly targets are met through proactive member acquisition strategies and lead management.
- Member Retention: Implement retention strategies that create a positive member experience, helping to retain and nurture relationships with current members, ensuring they remain satisfied with their membership and services.
- Club Appearance: Oversee the club’s cleanliness, organisation, and overall aesthetic, ensuring that the space is always presentable and enjoyable for members. In an ever-growing industry where competition is on the rise, you'll ensure our facility stands out by creating an environment focused on exceptional cleanliness, guest/member experience, and community building.
- Networking & Community Engagement: Build relationships with local businesses, influencers, and fitness professionals to foster partnerships. Liaise with stakeholders such as supplement suppliers and local businesses to arrange and host community events, bringing in new members and strengthening our gym’s ties to the community.
- Social Media Management: Manage the clubs social media presence, creating engaging content with your team to attract new members, keep current members engaged, and promote club events, programs, and promotions.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of casual staff, ensuring they deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the gym. Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to maintain a high-performing team.
- Event Planning: Organise and oversee fitness events, workshops, and promotions to engage members and the local community.
- Group Fitness & Personal Training: Experience managing group fitness schedules, GX instructors, and personal trainers.
Requirements:
- A deep passion for the fitness industry and a genuine desire to help others lead healthier lives.
- Proven experience in gym management or in a similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of sales techniques and member retention strategies.
- Creativity and willingness to think outside the box to create unique experiences for gym members.
- A forward-thinking mindset to turn a gym into a true community of health and wellness.
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently and take initiative to drive results.
- Confidence in leading a team, making decisions, and networking with stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire a team.
- Experience with social media management and content creation.
- Knowledge of financial management and budget handling.
- Savvy with new promotions and networking skills to build relationships with local businesses, supplement suppliers, and other key stakeholders to arrange community events and boost both membership and sales.
