About the role:
- Be the captain of the ship, leading the team ensuring shifts move smoothly and constructively
- Maintaining rosters and run sheets, ensuring adequate coverage and efficiency
- Collaborating with the food and beverage manager to optimize efficiency, workflow and financial performance
- You will provide leadership and direction to the team to ensure we are delivering exceptional customer service
- Creating and managing team rosters, ensuring adequate coverage and proficiency
- Bringing genuine relationships with members and guests
- Coordinate restaurant bookings and functions
- Be the essential communication link between the kitchen, front of house team and customers
- Responding appropriately to customer feedback and enquiries
To succeed in this role, you’ll have:
- Minimum two years' experience managing a restaurant, in leadership or equivalent
- Experience leading and mentoring a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Flexible and adaptable nature as split shifts, nights, weekends, and public holidays will be required
- A friendly, energetic, and upbeat personality
- RSA and RCG (must be willing to obtain if you do not yet have one)
- An understanding of restaurant profitability and budgets
