HEAD BARISTA - Full Time

We’re on the lookout for a skilled and passionate Head Barista to lead our coffee team and to teach and uplift the wider team with your knowledge and love of coffee. If you thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and thrive behind the machine, we’d love to meet you!
As our Head Barista, you will:
- Predominately be focused at The Barrow – our grab and go coffee and food outlet.
- Take the lead behind the machine, ensuring every cup is expertly crafted and every team member is supported to do their best.
- Support and train our team by sharing your knowledge, building skills, and making sure we’re all serving up consistently top-notch coffee.
- Work collaboratively with the wider hospitality team including Rivers Café and Functions and Events as well as our Speciality Coffee Roaster, Arthurs Creek Coffee Co.
What we’re looking for:
- A seasoned barista with proven experience as a senior or head barista.
- Know your way around a range of brewing equipment and coffee styles, with demonstrated coffee knowledge of dialling recipes and adjusting brewing parameters.
- Experience with working with La Marzocco coffee machines, Mazzer Robur Grinders, Puqpress is desirable
- Someone who stays curious and looking for ways to refine their skills whilst staying on top of industry trends.
- A natural mentor who is approachable and proactive, driven to support and inspire others.
- Take pride in delivering outstanding customer service every shift.
