About the Role
As our Head Barista, you’ll be the heart of our coffee experience, ensuring every cup meets the highest standards while creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for guests. You’ll oversee our coffee team, train and mentor baristas, and collaborate with management to refine our offerings and customer journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coffee Excellence: Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee and espresso-based drinks, maintaining quality and consistency at all times.
- Team Leadership: Train, motivate, and lead our barista team, fostering a culture of learning, teamwork, and hospitality.
- Menu Development: Work with management to develop and update our coffee menu, including seasonal specials.
- Operations: Manage coffee-related equipment, inventory, and supplier relationships. Ensure cleanliness and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Customer Engagement: Build rapport with guests, resolve issues, and contribute to a positive, memorable experience at Flour Bar.

Who We’re Looking For
- Experience: 3+ years as a barista, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or training role.
- Skills: Outstanding coffee preparation and latte art, strong leadership, and communication abilities.
- Attitude: Passionate about hospitality, community, and creating great experiences. Energetic, reliable, and eager to grow with our team.
