Bankstown Girls High School is a comprehensive secondary school established in 1960, located in Sydney’s Southwest. Our student population of 547 girls reflects a diverse range of cultural, religious, and socio-economic backgrounds. Notably, 98% of our students come from non-English speaking backgrounds, and 30% require varying levels of support in English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EAL/D).

Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated ability to lead the development of innovative and explicit teaching and learning across a range of HSIE and HGPE programs, including curriculum and assessment practices that engage and meet the needs of all students.
- Visible leadership that demonstrates exemplary interpersonal skills and the proven capacity to build staff capability through mentoring and targeted professional learning, whilst fostering a culture of high expectations, teamwork, positive relationships, and staff wellbeing to ensure sustainable improvement across a diverse faculty.
