About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Health & Safety Advisor who will play a key role in implementing and supporting our safety management systems, ensuring compliance with relevant WHS legislation, and promoting a proactive safety culture throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and support compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation, company policies, an
- d procedures.
- Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, audits, and investigations.
- Assist in the development and delivery of training and toolbox talks.
- Maintain accurate safety records and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide support and guidance to site teams and management on WHS issues.
About You
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in work health and safety (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a WHS advisory role, preferably within construction, engineering, or industrial services.
- Demonstrated understanding of WHS legislation and regulatory requirements in Australia.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with incident investigation and risk management practices.
- Current driver’s licence and ability to travel to multiple sites as required.
