Tutor – High School Subjects (Casual / Contractor)

The Role
We are seeking a high-achieving and motivated tutor to join our team. You will be working with students from Years 7–12 across a range of subjects, depending on your expertise. Sessions are flexible and can be conducted either in-person (at students’ homes) or online.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective tutoring sessions
- Support students with homework, assignments, and exam preparation
- Adapt teaching approaches to suit individual learning needs
- Communicate clearly with students and parents about progress
- Represent Your Local Legends with professionalism
Requirements
- Achieved an ATAR of 97+ (or equivalent academic results)
- Hold a current Blue Card (or be willing to obtain one)
- Hold an ABN (or be willing to register one)
- Own a reliable car and be willing to drive to tutoring sessions around Brisbane
- Strong knowledge in one or more high school subjects (Maths, English, or Sciences highly desirable)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, organised, and patient
- Prior tutoring experience preferred but not essential

Job Type: Subcontract
Pay: $45.00 – $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 10 per week
