Support Worker (Community) - 24x7 client - Multiple Shifts Available
We currently have an opportunity to support a lovely client based in Burleigh Waters who requires compassionate, round-the-clock care. We're seeking dedicated staff to assist across a rotating roster that ensures coverage 24/7.
Duties may include:
- Manual handling (please note: client is not on a hoist; a slide sheet is required)
- Personal care
- Medication administration, including crushed medication - we will train if you are not medication competent
- Domestic assistance
- Transport coordination (via Maxi Taxi)
Rostered hours: This position offers 38 hours across 5 days, with the following ideal shift times:
- Day shift: 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
- Evening shift: 3:00 pm – 10:00 pm
- Sleepover shift: 10:00 pm – 8:00 am (non-active sleepover between 10pm to 6 am)

About you:
You will need to have a certificate 3/4 in Aged Care or equivalent
Be a Nursing student currently studying who has completed their Aged Care Placement
Have a well-maintained insured vehicle and a smartphone
You will be requested to undertake background checks such as criminal history, demerit point/driving history and reference checks.
Applicants may be requested to disclose any pre-existing illness or injury which may impact their ability to perform the advertised role.
Applicants will be physically fit, have good communication and technology skills and be reliable.
Will need to provide two referees or references.
