About the Role: ACH Group has an exciting new opportunity to lead the operational management, customer care and quality service delivery at the Residential Care Home -Colton Court, based in McLaren Vale.
The Home Manager role will be responsible for overseeing a small home of 37 beds. The role is offered as a full-time position with the possibility of part-time (minimum of 0.8FTE) for the right candidate.
What you'll do:
- Lead the execution of the strategic initiatives at the home and best practice within clinical care services
- Maintain and exceed compliance to Aged Care legislation, accreditation standards and AN ACC framework
- Budget oversight, clinical, quality, safety and staff resourcing management (in conjunction with Operations Manager Residential Business Customer Care, Head of Care Workforce and Operations Manager Hotel Services)
- Oversee clinical staff (Nurses), including recruiting, on-boarding, reviewing and supporting staff to achieve success in the delivery of the 'Good Lives' promise
- Incident Management for customer and staff
- Feedback management and case conferences
- Lead a high performing and customer centric culture
- In conjunction with the Care Managers liaise with internal and external stakeholders including the resident's family members, carers and allied health professionals
- Significant experience in a leadership / management role / or similar role
- Nursing qualifications and current registration with AHPRA
- Ideally possess post graduate qualifications or working towards
- Demonstrated high levels of clinical competence
- Demonstrated experience in supporting family members and residents
- Demonstrated experience in resolving clinical issues, supporting family members and residents
- Understanding of Healthy Ageing and AN ACC preferred
- Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
- Intermediate computer skills
- Preferably possess significant nursing experience in an aged care environment
- A Police Check for working in aged care less than 12 months old upon commencement
