The Opportunity
We are looking for a HR Business Partner on a fixed-term 12 month Parental Leave contract to join the People & Culture team.
As an HR Business Partner, you’ll work closely with leaders across MEGT to provide expert advice and operational support in all aspects of human resources. You’ll play a key role in embedding a culture aligned to our values while driving initiatives in workforce planning, employee relations, performance, and talent development.
This role will see you:
- Partner with leaders to understand workforce needs and develop HR solutions
- Provide guidance and manage complex employee relations, performance management and workplace investigation cases
- Support organisational development initiatives including training, engagement and culture programs
- Ensure HR practices are compliant with employment legislation and internal policies
- Keeping the business up to date and informed on legislative changes
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects across the People & Culture function
About you
- As an experienced HR professional, you will have proven experience in a HRBP or similar generalist HR role.
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment law, HR policies and best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels of the business.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and change management.
- Ongoing commitment to deliver strategy with a process improvement mindset.
