The Implementation Consultant is responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of software solutions for clients. This role involves working directly with our customers to ensure they are implemented on time, within budget, coordinating project activities, and facilitating change management throughout the process. In addition, this role is also responsible for technical consulting and platform configuration management.

What you`ll be doing:

  • Act as a Project Lead for multiple concurrent customer-facing projects with small to mid-sized enterprise customers. This will mostly include facilitating remote working sessions and on occasion traveling onsite with the customer.
  • Manage all aspects of implementations, including scope, risk, project plans, escalations, project monitoring and progress tracking, weekly checkpoint meetings, and consulting on best practices.
  • Collaborate with key customer stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements, manage expectations, and address concerns throughout the implementation.
  • Align requirements to product functionality and program design, configuration, testing, and possible integrations.
  • Create detailed communication and onboarding plans; document/update the project workbook accordingly to reflect timelines, milestones, and change management strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Development, Operations, Product and Customer Success teams, as required.
  • Utilize tracking and reporting tools (Mavenlink, JIRA, Confluence, Salesforce.com, internal documentation) to ensure an effective project management approach, knowledge transfer, and business continuity.
  • Provide ongoing support to users after platform launch, addressing issues and ensuring a smooth transition to Customer Success and Customer Support.

What we`re looking for:

  • 3-5 years or more of related experience with consulting and implementing software applications in a customer-facing environment.
  • Ability to analyze business needs and translate them into implementation plans.
  • Proven track record with managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and proposing solutions to ensure project delivery.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address challenges during implementation.
  • Change management skills to navigate organizational transitions effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
