About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Injury Management and Health Advisor to work on a back-to-back roster, supporting the well-being of our workforce at Federation Mine. This hands-on operational role plays a key part in promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
You will be responsible for implementing health initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing injury management support. Working closely with site leadership and employees, you will lead health monitoring, facilitate training, and contribute to risk assessments and incident investigations.
This position requires a Registered Nurse or Paramedic with experience in workplace health, injury management, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations
- Develop and maintain workplace health and injury management programs
- Conduct drug, alcohol, hydration, and health monitoring tests
- Liaise with telehealth GPs and support worker rehabilitation
- Assist in risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations
- Deliver health-related training and promote safety awareness
- Conduct workplace inspections and lead health initiatives
- Support site and regional health programs
- Oversee health surveillance, including fit testing and lead sampling Assist with Emergency Response Team (ERT) training and scenarios
Qualifications and experience
- Registered Paramedic or Registered Nurse
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant work experience
- Current unencumbered 'C' Class Driver’s Licence
- Experience conducting risk assessments and incident investigations (ICAM, Taproot)
- Able to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to apply for NSW Security Clearance
