How you will create an impact
To oversee the onboarding; claims handling and claims portfolio performance of all International Commercial Portfolio Business including Claims arising under the Business Package product, MGA distributed business across all Commercial LOB’s and Claims arising under Broker Facilities.
Key Deliverables:
Design of Operating Models for Commercial Flow and MGA accounts associated to framework/ performance management processes.
Performance Management Framework/Process/ Checklist for Onboarding MGA’s and TPA’s including key engagement points with other functions and TPA Governance Team and forming part of an E2E Performance Management Framework.
Plan for capture/ governance/ analysis of claims data.
Migrate existing MGA accounts under the MGA Performance Management Framework.
Effective and efficient management of claims arising under MGA portfolio (within and above DA levels)
Oversight of Operating model for claims management to include responsibility for resourcing & cost of claim handling.
Produce a clear view of NATCAT accumulations and event exposure across the portfolio & support post event CAT claims process
Collaborating with country managers oversee effective and efficient management of claims arising under the portfolio solutions portfolio.
Report on Claims Performance and Loss Trends to stakeholders and develop plans to address any opportunities for portfolio improvement.
Ensure customer servicing (including complaints) monitoring is in place and actions taken where needed
Key accountabilities will include but not limited to:
Optimize operating models for portfolio claims handling teams to improve Total Cost of Claim and Service across TPA/ MGA portfolios, Facilities and Portfolio Solutions product
In collaboration with country claims managers define and drive best practice claims handling on Portfolio Solutions business.
Deliver claims loss trends to actuaries/ underwriters and stakeholders.
Represent Claims on DUA Oversight Steering Committees or ensure local representation is in place for claims
Optimize management of claims notified under MGA accounts to include oversight of TPA’s and AIG Teams responsible or account management/ excess of authority referrals. NB Larger technical referrals should flow to respective LOB leaders albeit this role provides commercial
Ensure audit findings relating to in-scope accounts are actioned.
Optimize use of claims vendors and ensure effective cost containment process are in place
What you’ll need to succeed
Claims Handling Experience – Property/ Small Commercial and/ or Personal insurance.
Understanding of Nat CAT management from both a financial and operational standpoint.
Experienced working across borders and with remote stakeholders effectively
Process Design/ Improvement in claims with proven experience of using technology to optimize claim efficiencies and outcomes
Working with data and reporting. Including strong grasp of Data Governance; Reporting and Analysis
Vendor Assessment and Management experience
Strong communication and presentation skills including to leadership
